Boy of the Painted Cave

Boy of The Painted Cave Blog

Summary
Boy Of The Painted Cave by Justin Denzel, a book with 158 pages, is a book about a 14-year-old boy living in the Stone Age whose dream is to be a Chosen One and paint in the Secret Cavern. When he is kicked out of his clan, he stars a secret life of hunting with a wolf dog and painting, witch are both taboos. His goal is accomplished in the end of the book with the help of a friend and when his father Volt realized he was wrong.
The Secret Cavern
In Boy Of The Painted Cave the Secret Cavern has a big effect on the story. The clan believes that only Chosen Ones can make images in it or even enter it! In the story Tao commits the biggest crime of all when he sneaks into it and paints on the wall, when the clan people find out about this they are furious and make him face Saxon, the sacred bull. If Tao won the battle they would forgive him but if he lost then they would know for sure he did wrong.
Ram Ram has a big effect in the story of Boy Of The Painted Cave. If Ram were not in the story Tao would not have caught a bunny in the first chapter. Plus, mammoths would have trampled Tao. Also if Ram hadn’t have been caught by the mountain people, Tao wouldn’t have gone in after him, and he never would have met graybeard, and he never would have been told to paint in the Secret Cavern which would ruin the story.
