The Witches
The Witches by Roald Dahl
The Witches by Roald Dahl is a very exciting book filled with adventure and mystery. A young boy is the narrator of the story and when his parents die he lives with his grandmother who tells him everything she knows about witches. When they go on vacation and find out that there is a whole group of witches meeting in their hotel they hatch a plan to get rid of all the witches in England and most importantly The Grand high Witch. When their mission is accomplished and all the witches are turned into mice they decide to make a bigger mark on the world of witches. They decide to attack the New high witch and all her court. I truly enjoyed "The Witches" by Roald Dahl.

Winners So Far...
The Winners So Far...
Well in my series of questions it looks like the class's favorite animal is the giraffe, followed by the tiger and then the zebra, chinchilla, dolphin, and the pig. the class's favorite color is blue. The class's favorite judge on American idol is Ellen in First (who voted for her? she is NOT THE BEST!!!!!!!!!) followed by Simon, then Randy, and Kara is in last with NO VOTES. The Classes favorite American Idol contestant is Lee with Chrystal in 2nd and Casey with NO VOTES (lets hope he's gone tonight!)Another thing, I'll be upgrading these polls every once in a while so if you think that the best animal is a Zebra instead of a giraffe THEN VOTE VOTE VOTE VOTE VOTE!!!!! I hope you all enjoy! :)

Matilda

Matilda by Roald Dahl
"Matilda" by Roald Dahl, is a 240 page book written about a young girl with special abilities. Matild is going to school for the first time and it turns out she's a genius, she multiply large sums in her head and she can read abnormally large books for her age. When she finds out that the principle of her school is a very cruel and evil person she decides that revenge has to come. Matilda uses her special powers to scare away the evil principle, Ms. Trunchbull. After Ms.Trunchbull leaves all happiness is restored, but more happiness comes when Matilda's parents leave the country and Matilda is adopted by her sweet school teacher, Ms.Honey. I think that anyone would love this exciting book by Roald Dahl.

Child of the Owl
Child of the Owl
Child of the Owl by Laurence Yep is a 215 paged story about a girl trying to find out who she really is. in this story Casey is sent to live with her Paw-Paw (grandmother) while her father is in the hospital. She hears a story about her ancestery that helps her find out who she really is. In the end Casey is reunited with her father after he makes some BIG mistakes. I didn't fall head-over-heals for this story but I think that it got interesting enough that people could enjoy it.
